Re: Caller ID
seems to me, if the little caller ID boxes have done all the work for you, by sending the info to the LCD, that one of you guys could build an output port to send it as a file to your computer.. ? I've read some of your responses in this forum and I respect the fact that there is real talent in this...

Re: sonar buoys
I think your right.. I remember a bit back where the geological survice (or whoever it is that monitors earthquakes and tremors, etc.) and the weather service are using them for sunami (sp) detection in the oceans.. that may be a corridor to check..

Re: X10 question
thanks... I'll take a look in the breaker box and see which side the controller is on and which side the fence wiring is on... maybe I can put my other controller on a circuit that is the same side as the fence if they are different... it's always worth a try anyway.. I also found out the other nigh...

Re: X10 question
your right and your right... the signal just won't carry the distance. It does send the signal transposed on the ac line. So, I can't do my automated lighting out along the driveway...

X10 question
I use a lot of the X10 controls in my house. Had really good luck with them, except at Christmas I usually burn out a few.. anyway.. I have just wired my white plastic fence out front, it had the 1X6 plastic boards that made for a perfect conduit... I'd like to turn on certain outlets in it and a la...

Re: LED tail light bulbs
at $5.00 each I can afford to try that... at $50.00 each, they were out of my ball park... as far as the flashing, I figured the bulbs in the truck would trigger the flasher and the LED's would just follow suit.. now like you say, I hope they are bright enough on flash for all angles.. then again, I...

Re: LED tail light bulbs
your right.. anyway, I'll try the different led units out there and see how they survive.. I know that LEDTRONIC is NOT the way to go.. they sent 2 lamps and a bill for $100.00 a few months ago.. now they have the newer bulbs for $48.50 each... yuk... the $5.00 ones are more inline.. with 3 trailors...

Re: LED tail light bulbs
