would like suggestions on using some type of thermo switch to cool a 2 meter radio heat sink.
I have some 12 volt 40mm x 40mm cooling fans that I would like to use to help cool the heat sink
but don't want them running all the time.
Thanks for any help

AC Detector
Can anyone suggest a AC Detector I would like to know if a line is energized without using a meter and no contact with the conductor. A tone or light Detector would be fine. looking to check 120 volt lines.
Thanks

Re: midland 18 str weather radio strobe light
just a up date wired the light as we talked about to a 1/8 inch plug. When I short the pins on the plug the light will come on.But when I plug it into the radio the light goes on about half as bright with no alarm. If I trip the alarm the light is bright. Any ideas ?
Thanks
